Ive got a 12 plate GTC 1.4T . I bought it from Vauxhall in March 2016 ( so they serviced it then, but not sure to what level of service) it had 24k miles when i bought it. It will have done about 31k by the end of Feb. Should I get a Major or an Interim service? And As I didn't buy it Brand new, My 1 year warrenty runs out soon, so should I bother using vauxhall for the upcoming service and M.O.T or just use a local garage and save £50 ?

depends what the service book says is due, that will confirm if it's a minor or major service.
Personally at five years old I would use a trusted garage over a dealer.

The fourth service would have probably included spark plugs, brake and coolant change, fuel filter, pollen filter, air filter, oil and oil filter change. Regarding servicing, you could buy the parts from VX and get any vat registered garage to do the service or get anyone to do it regardless of genuine parts or not.

Ive just checked the service book. For every service its had , vauxhall have just wrote the date and milage and stamped it. They haven't bothered to tick interim/major or anything they have done
