Windscreen arrived yesterday, well packaged had a quick look and I do need to get the mounting bracket. Good news is it looks more like it just clips on as there are like little plastic poppers stuck to the screen already.

Yes mate I had look at mine this morning and it pushes up to come off.

Just need to find some cash to have it fitted and someone good to do it now.

I have a mounting bracket for the windscreen mate, came with my auto mirror. Don't know if it's any good to you?

Not yet need to re-request it as the guy at GM refused outright, I was gonna do it Monday when Lewis comes down but he's not coming now till next weekend I think.

Right I've re-requested the VCI code this time I've said no software is available so lets see what the response back is.

On a plus note I reprogrammed the radio and that download and installed the front camera software to it.

I ended up getting the same guy at GM seems he only knows how to say

Even after I responded to his email telling him the IPC and RADIO software had been downloaded and installed and I control the system from GDS2, and the fact the car has had AFL etc retrofitted which was not fitted at the factory.

I also told him if it can be fitted at the factory it can be fitted afterwards.

I know this can be done it's just getting a VCI which this guy at GM seems unwilling to provide.

There is no point buying the front cam as GM will not supply the VCI code needed, I'm working on a work around but need to find the time to get to the guy who has the cam fitted.

What you have is not the front camera it's the High Beam Assist mirror.

VCI code and programing is not problem. I have one guy with MDI, and programed rear camera for car whitout VCI code.
I need electrical diagram and connector pins. I don't now where front camera is plugged.

You will need a VCI code for the front camera otherwise you will not get access to the needed software.

GM will not provide a VCI code.

did you get the factory reverse camera to work
if so how did you do this and did it just need activation with MDI and no vci codes thanks.

I don't know, I didn't do that. In Poland there's a company which provides that: http://www.autoflashonline.pl/#intro.
In Astra J there is programmed reverse camera estate 35 model.

Fingers crossed it works the BCM may need some extra software too but at the moment all its complaining about is the Camera has no VIN
