Changed the fuses in the boot still nothing. The lumbar support buttons still work on the seats and everything else works fine in the car just the heated seats won’t turn on.
Is there any other fuses to try change? And if not anyone have any ideas what it could be?
Hi,
I had exactly the same problem.
The K29 controller under the seat did not receive power (checked the voltage on the K29 X1 connector of the controller with a multimeter, which was 0V; ground was OK). Fuse F21RA 25A on the X53A rear fuse block was OK (resistance) and was energized at 12.6V. So the problem was on the installation between the fuse and the K29 controller connector.
I further checked the resistance of all the connectors, in line, in direct connection with the F21RA fuse (using one additional
wire and a multimeter):
- K29 X1 (red cable) to F21RA - resistance 0L.
- X310 Body Harness (pin 1) to F21RA - resistance 1.4kOhm; voltage on that pin was 0.8V.
So there was a huge voltage drop between connector X310 (looked OK) and fuse F21RA, something between them was
burned out. The following connectors are on the X53A rear fuse block, X1 and X2. The X2 had a problem - one pin bearing melted, even the pin was pulled out of the board when the connector was removed.

And here are some pictures of how I solved the problem and now everything works fine:
