Having just finished the job, I can confirm it's a 21mm socket that's required to remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper to the hub.

Right, another tool to add to my list. Seems every time I do the brakes on a Vauxhall it requires yet another tool. First it was a 7mm allen key for the slider pins, then torx sockets to get the caliper off my old Vectra. Now they've gone back to hex bolts again. Sigh.
