there is 1 ground wire for the lot and a bus-bar that carries it across to each bulb. That's the way it's been for many years mate.
It's the same as a house consumer board (fuse board) all the lives go into the fuse or circuit breaker and all the earth's (grounds) go into one long bus-bar.
