CD400 usb and aux not responding

Hello guys, I recently bought this car, I had a previous Astra J GTC and I could listen to my music through aux just fine. On this one neither of usb and aux are working, I plug my cable but when I press Aux nothing happens, Bluetooth works just with calls. What should I do?

I would perhaps have a look making sure the wires are connected behind the ports.

You will only get calls on the Bluetooth no music streaming. You need a different head unit to do that.

So, I checked yesterday, because I also bought new ports, I thought that the old ones were potentially damaged. Still nothing is working, I could check behind the cd400 unit to see if those are connected but I am really thinking this has to do with software.

Does yours have the pdim module, I can check from reg. Maybe you head unit

I don't know that, but my reg is LR12AOK.

It's a module that fits under the dash on right hand side behind dab module that does usb and I think aux it's called portable device interface module.

so should I check and eventually get one? is that expensive?
