Halogen DRL headlights in a car with LED DRL headlights

Hi All,

Anyone know if swapping led DRL headlights to standard ones with halogen DRLs would work or would it cause problems?

There is a difference in wiring I believe but that can be done but the led ballasts are needed also no ones done it as yet error free

I'm talking about getting rid of my current LED DRL models and going got the halogen models... That still have the same problems you just described and the same issued with errors?

You mostly could but it would require a VCI if they supply one as you'd need the new config files for the headlamps. All the wiring is the same thou.

Although no ones been successful in getting the LED ones to work.

Damn this car and it's VCI codes!!! Reason I was asking is I was considering going for the chrome ones I wanted without the led DRLs... But not messing around with more VCI programming as it's a major hassle for me. Cheers though mate
