cap gunk oil on

Gunk on oil cap

Hi Guys,

Sorry this isn't Astra related, My wife's Corsa has gunk on the oil cap like in the you-tube video below, its not loosing coolant its only driven 3 miles to work and back, i have done an oil and filter change but its still on the cap

in the past couple of years its had the cam belt done the head skimmed, as said its not loosing any water from the bottle, 

is this OK? what should i do?

Hi take it for a good run warming the engine should burn off the moisture build up and I mean a good run

Yes, take it for a good old Italian tune.

It's the short journeys that is causing it. The oil isn't getting hot enough to boil off any water vapour.
