I have an Astra J 1.4 turbo which the other week I knocked a hose off which is held on with a little plastic clip and radiator coolant was pumping out like a fountain (as car engine was running). It is the hose that T off another hose and leads to the expansion tank (smaller pipe), as I said the T hose is held on with a little plastic clip.
When I put it all back together I noticed it kept leaking coolant from the same area so I thought a little o-ring washer must of come off when the water pumped out. So I put a new o-ring washer on which solved to issue.
However I think there is air in the system now as whenever I take the car for a bit of a run and stop steam keeps coming out of the expansion tank.
Can someone please tell me the correct procedure for bleeding the Astra j 1.4 turbo.
