HOW TO CHANGE DOOR PINS

Possibly the Cheapest Upgrade Here
and a very easy and Simple job to do 5 Minutes Max.

Just Unscrew the Original Plastic Door Pins by hand
and Turn the New ones Back in.

They cost around £15 for the 5 door
and £9.00 for the 3 Door
and can be found on eBay etc
They are a Good Quaintly Product
and so Simple to do
and they have a Real Impact to the way the car Looks Inside
they are such an Improvement over the Plastic ones and well worth Doing

Irmscher sell These Pins for around £50 for a Set of 4
They are just not Worth it
as the Cheap ones are Just as Good.

I've bought a set of pins but I'm struggling to get the original pins off.
Do they unscrew? Mines seem to be stuck

Looking at the photos in the following sellers post, they screw on. You can see the threads on the shaft that the pin fixes too.

Hi thanks for the reply and links.

I've tried unscrewing them but they won't budge.

Use leather gloves or something to get more grip. Mine were tight as well but they really do screw off.

Many thanks.

It took a cloth and pliers but I got them unscrewed.

I'm at work so can't try but from memory the alloy ones look a lot shorter. These are the ones I bought are they ok?

Ebay door pins

Finally should I use some grease to stop the dis similar metals bonding together?
