Flex ride shock absorbers and springs ?
#1
Hi I need to replace one front and one rear shock absorber and rear spring in my astra j 2.0cdti elite.Apparently car has flex ride suspension (sport and tour button).so called Vauxhall parts today and asked what price without fitting would be for set of ne fronts and rears cos ideally would be nice change all for new ...nearly £2000 without fitting!this is what I heard !
I think is just wrong to pay this kind of money!even my cousin m sport adaptive suspension cos less from BMW!
So any advice or any good shock absorbers for flexeide?
Alternatively i think to get bilstein b12 and loose sport button(left on everything in this option apart stiffing suspension)
Please share any thoughts
Thanks

probably your only option, unless you get some good used suspension, but thats always risky.

Thanks for answers.I thinking about bilstein b12 or b14 .
Heard that some people put them on vxr's and they get better ride in terms of comfort but still same handling .So would be standard fitting on my car ?like in astra j without electronic suspension?or because of this electronic dampers fitting is different?

I would have thought they would share the same fixings, just one is adjustable electronically.
