A Real nice and Easy Upgrade is to Remove and Replace
the Side Repeaters for the Dark Smoked look.

Here is the Standard Side Repeater for the Astra j 5 Door.

To Remove them from the Car all you Need is an old Credit Card,
Start at the Back by pushing the Card in,
and Push the Tab on the back of the Side Repeater
and They will Then just Pop off
the Same will Apply for the GTC.

Now you have the Repeater out
simply twist the Bulb and the Bulb will come out
Then you can Replace the Repeaters
for the new Dark Smoked ones.

This is a low Budget and an easy to do Upgrade
but its all About the Detail and they look so much Better
they cost Around £20 from eBay
and they are Well Worth Doing.

Another Good Option Here is to fit
the Corsa VXR Surrounds
and Astra H Side Repeaters
the Side Repeaters just Stick on with 3m Tape
that is on the Back of the Surrounds
The side Repeaters just Clip into the Surrounds
very Easy to Fit.

In the surround around the indicator if you know what I mean. Like the original have a silver surround so the indicator looks like it has no surround but there is space there for it.

Does it make a difference what bulb is in there to make it lighter? It came with orange bulbs but I left the clear ones that were in the car already.

Hi guys,

I agree with the above post. The indicators do look a tad dim.

Anyone tried this with an LED?

Not sure how this would look with the tints if I'm honest.
