Pedal Box

Probably stupid question but are the pedal boxes model dependant?, can an Astra H pedal box be used on an Astra J

My understanding is they can be flashed with the correct model software but it has to be done by the manufacturer, I.e DTUK etc

Do you know if DTUK are willing to do this? and how much they charge?

I know the pedal box I bought was for a cdti and works fine on my 1.6 turbo, and I let my mate try it in his insignia 09 plate and it worked fine there aswell. Not sure whether it would work on the h though

The pedal box from a H will work on J without anything being done.

All pedal box's for Vauxhall work on any Vauxhall model Astra h insignia Astra j gtc corsa etc

Cheers, interestingly spoke to DTUK this morning and they reckon the pedal box would need a software update to work, which would cost £50, so not sure now, may buy the box and try it, would there be any issues if it didn't work would it bring any dahs lights on etc, or just not work?

I used both of them pedal box. (without any adjustment)

I removed it, because New Car lost the pedal command.

Well won the auction box should be here by the weekend so fingers crossed will work once fitted
