Brake pedal vibration
Hi guys. Me and my neighbour recently changed my front pads. I didn't buy vx ones but just normal one from local motor factors.
All we changed was the pads and applied copper grease to the back.
I'm getting a horrible vibrating type of feeling under my foot when braking at low speed.
I've read on here about shimmed pads? Looked on the net and are the shims the metal clips which are at the top and bottom of the caliper?
If they are, could it be that the new pads don't fit these aswell as vx ones

Hi All,

Anyone know what this green cable is? Only just noticed it and it's not plugged in... Looks like an antenna cable of some sort but I'm probably wrong lol

Pedal box
So I've just fitted the pedal box to my car and it's definitely changed.

I'm just worried it's going to use a lot more fuel.

Like for instance. - usually I drive round and say I'm in 3rd outing my foot down to change to 4th it might say I'm getting 11/12mpg.

With the pedal box on I had it in sport+ and level 3 it's saying I'm getting 5mpg.

Even when I've put my foot down flat out I've never seen it go as low as 5mpg I've seen 8mpg bombing it down in 3rd/4th.

So my old man has a 1.
