I tried to fit my new pioneer AVH-z5000DAB into my Astra today.
Everything went according to plan except one thing.

It seems that the fascia doesn't fit as it should. Any ideas?

What I found I had to do was fold my screen out which gives more room.

Then hook it under then push in the top and work your way down sides.

TBH that lip is a pain in the ass.

Other people have cut the lip off.

I finally have done it!!
I followed all your instructions Rusty and worked like a charm.
Just a tip though... cutting the lighter case and the the usb port is easier if you just use a lighter to heat up a cutter. Makes the cut look better.
