Instrument Cluster Cover

Hey All

Anyone know if it's at all possible to get a soft touch/stitched IPC cover? (to match the steering wheel, seats etc.)

I notice the cascada has this but it's shaped totally different to the J... Also I know you can get some cheap o thing from eBay but it's not the same.

Thanks

This is the eBay thing:

You have to glue it on yourself

You could take it to a specialist, like the flockers and see if they can make you a custom one. I think thats probably your best bet if you didn't want to do an ebay special mate

That is tha same company that do the ones for the fto and the guys on the forum I was a member loved them.

Fitment is good but they recommend and so would that a specialist fit it and there might be a degree of stretching required.

I can't remember who the company is but there is a company that will flock the parts if you remove them from the car and send them off.

have a look on the google machine and see if you can find a company that flock dashboards and so on in your area, its becoming quite popular so there will no doubt be someone close to you.

Flocking is not at all what you're describing.

Flocked dash looks like a velvet/suede type finish, it's what is typically found in race cars to prevent glare from the dash.

What you're after is a leather bound with stitching isnt it?

Something like this?

You should see where the company are that are advertising on eBay and see how far away they are from you.

Failing that if you did purchase from them possibly a local re-trimmer would be able to fit them or possible do some custom work for you.

Never liked that flocked look, it is probably an alternative upgrade for an old worn out interior on much older cars but on a modern car it would look awful imho.
