Instrument Cluster Cover - sheppy1 - 9:th-May-2016 Hey All [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] Anyone know if it's at all possible to get a soft touch/stitched IPC cover? (to match the steering wheel, seats etc.) I notice the cascada has this but it's shaped totally different to the J... Also I know you can get some cheap o thing from eBay but it's not the same. Thanks Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk This is the eBay thing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WHITE-STITCH-SPEEDO-HOOD-SKIN-COVER-FITS-VAUXHALL-OPEL-HOLDEN-ASTRA-J-MK6-09-14-/390950354580?hash=item5b0674fe94:g:dvgAAOSw6EhUPPHm You have to glue it on yourself RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - Shorty S91 - 9:th-May-2016 You could take it to a specialist, like the flockers and see if they can make you a custom one. I think thats probably your best bet if you didn't want to do an ebay special mate RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - sheppy1 - 9:th-May-2016 Like who? That a local company? I'd defo consider it as I hate the plastic one Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - bruce_19 - 9:th-May-2016 That is tha same company that do the ones for the fto and the guys on the forum I was a member loved them. Fitment is good but they recommend and so would that a specialist fit it and there might be a degree of stretching required. I can't remember who the company is but there is a company that will flock the parts if you remove them from the car and send them off. RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - sheppy1 - 9:th-May-2016 Oh nice! Thanks both.. I didn't realise there was a term used to describe this kind of thing! Ha. I'm definitely having a look around.. Would be great to have this done [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - CraigSRi - 10:th-May-2016 Found this company - no idea how good they are though - http://www.theflockshop.co.uk/ RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - sheppy1 - 10:th-May-2016 Nice one mate! That's the one I found last night too... Was gonna email and ask for prices etc today [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - Jj0063 - 10:th-May-2016 Flocking is not at all what you're describing. Flocked dash looks like a velvet/suede type finish, it's what is typically found in race cars to prevent glare from the dash. What you're after is a leather bound with stitching isnt it? Something like this? Flocking looks like this: RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - sheppy1 - 10:th-May-2016 Oh! I didn't know that! Ha. Yes, I'm after the leather stitching style Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - bruce_19 - 10:th-May-2016 You should see where the company are that are advertising on eBay and see how far away they are from you. Failing that if you did purchase from them possibly a local re-trimmer would be able to fit them or possible do some custom work for you. RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - stigeye - 10:th-May-2016 Never liked that flocked look, it is probably an alternative upgrade for an old worn out interior on much older cars but on a modern car it would look awful imho. RE: Instrument Cluster Cover - marcus - 10:th-May-2016 I bet cleaning it is fun...
