How-to remove Instrument Cluster (IPC)

So the first thing you should do is disconnect the battery negative

Once you have done that jump in the car and you need to lower and pull out the steering wheel using the rake adjustment

Cheap Astra J 1.6 Cluster
I asked the seller of this item if it was pulled with our without tech2 and they told me it was without tech2 and because i told them that it probably wouldn't be much use to anyone as it can't easily be programmed into another car, they said they would drop the price from £50 delivered to £20 delivered!

Could be useful if anyone wants to upgrade theirs and ask ***** to code it for you or anyone who just wants to strip it down:

Instrument Cluster Cover
Hey All [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Anyone know if it's at all possible to get a soft touch/stitched IPC cover? (to match the steering wheel, seats etc.)

I notice the cascada has this but it's shaped totally different to the J... Also I know you can get some cheap o thing from eBay but it's not the same.

Thanks

Hi. I have a question. My 2010 Astra J doesn't have back red/white light in the cluster. Why?

*Here is a picture where the light is present.

HOW TO UPGRADE TO A NEW CLUSTER BIGGER DISPLAY AND BETTER LIGTH
Hi everyone in this amazing forum, i would like to open this thread about how to change from my actual speedometer to a more recent one with bigger display and better inside light.
A step by step with pictures would help me and everyone who's interested in this!
My car is a Astra 1.4 petrol and i already have the better speedometer for the same model as mine!
So anyone that could help adding information to solve and enlighten us all would be amazing!!

LHD rear Light cluster useful for extra reverse light.
Here for sale is a LHD rear light cluster idea if you want to add a 2nd reverse light to RHD Astra.

It’s brand new still in wrapper & is the unsmoked version.

£25 collected from BH1 4QT or £30 posted (with in the UK).
