My first post on the forum, firstly I'd like to say I think its a great place! Now. I've while driving around somehow one of my rear reg bulbs has gone into the rear bumper I know very frustrating :( can anyone recommend any ways of me fishing this cable out without having to take my rear bumper off. I've tried looking under the boot mat any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Have been looking at universal seat covers on eBay. I have found some but I have yet to see any pictures of what they look like fitted on an Astra GTC 1.4t 15 plate. Does anyone know how they fit? Are they nice and snug or slightly loose and cheap looking? 

I was mainly looking at a set for £59.99 called “deluxe black red pu leather set for Astra”. On the stock photo they look like they fit perfect but would hate to get them and realise they actually do not fit as snug as the picture suggests. Anyone had any experience with this?

Hi guys,i have astra j 1.7 110hp and when i turn off the car i pull the key out and put it back in half way ,so the radio can shut off. But few days ago i noticed when i put the key back in ,my car wants to start by itself and press clutch light is blinking,today i was accidentaly holding the clutch and car just started and then shut off by itself,anyone knows what could be the problem?

Morning all, wondering if somebody could please shed some light

Had my car sitting at work for 9 hours yesterday and when I started it I heard a 2 second ish rattle/squeek which I'm unaware of and this has never happened before. I turned the car off and on again but didn't hear it again. Around 10pm last night I had to move my car, so turned it on after it been sitting with no movement for 5 hours, cold engine but heard nothing. Then again this morning I heard the squeek/rattle again

Any ideas? I drive a 2015 GTC limited edition with 39,000 on the clock. Constantly having problems with this car!!

i all, drive a 2010 astra diesel and over last year it has  been ok but starting to fall apart so will be looking for plenty off advice

Hi folks, new to the forum. I have an Astra GTC SRI 1.4 with an engine warning light issue. 
My garage told me that after consulting their Technical Information Supplier with the fault codes, that it needed an ECU update in response to Technical Service Bulletin 3141. 
I've just taken it into Vauxhall Wakefield and their service team have done 'an' update, but have never heard of Technical Service Bulletin 3141, so won't confirm whether or not it has fixed the warning light issue. 

Does anyone have access to this bulletin please, so that I can figure out whether it's my garage or Vauxhall Wakefield that's not doing their job right.

My driver's door makes a loud clonk when I open it and I've been told the check strap needs replacing.  Is this an easy job?  I can only find guides for other models where the door card has to come off, is that needed for the Astra?
