Vauxhall have issued an update for the ECU for all 2.0 CDTI 160/165Ps with Stop/Start.
There has been reports that this is stopping the DTUK RED BOX working correctly, DTUK are aware of this and have worked on a fix for it although the fix might not work for all at this time.
I emailed DTUK this morning to find out where I stand as I already own the box I was told
Quote:You'll just have to wait and see what happens once the car is serviced in September as there is no pattern. Some cars are affected, some aren't.

Just playing in photoshop here's what I've came up with.
A standard twin exhaust, although I would change it to a dual tip but still looking at them.

1, TURN THE IGNITION ON.
2, PRESS THE MENU BUTTON AND SELECT VEHICLE INFORMATION.
3, THEN SELECT OIL LIFE.
4, PRESS AND HOLD THE CLEAR BUTTON
AND HOLD DOWN THE BRAKE PEDAL AT THE SAME TIME.
5, A MESSAGE WILL COME UP AND YOU CAN NOW STOP PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE CLEAR BUTTON.

DPF/cat removal... Discuss... I've heard so many different things from people its just confuzzled me altogether...
I'm looking to have a custom system made from the turbo back, 2.5" removing everything, or gutting, either way, so gutting the dpf, removing everything else behind it and having a straight through pipe, then have a backbox to go on..
So could someone please clear this up for me, I don't want to be paying out for a system to then have to have another one in a couple years when my car is due an mot..
