Astra J auto Sri, 2010 plate, 50k miles.
The coolant in the expansion tank has turned into what I can only describe as a thick chocolate milkshake. Currently arguing with a finance company as I haven’t had the car long. Assumed it was an oil cooler problem however two garages won’t touch it because it might not be an oil cooler issue, Vauxhall themselves have quoted six hours to flush and strip it all for a diagnosis but think it’s engine oil and not transmission oil and have said it might need a new engine.
Third local Indy garage got me down there to show me it has the wrong radiator on it because it has a blanked off intercooler and it’s a petrol car, they also won’t touch it.
Any ideas? Any recommendations on where I can take it in the Nottinghamshire area?

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong section, Tapatalk newb here.
I have been trying numerous led bulbs on my 5 door as they are possibly the worse reversing lights in the world!
but all have been throwing a error on the dashboard.
Some where supposed too be canbus error free... Oh the things they say to sell them!
Can anyone point me in the direction of one that's bright and doesn't throw a error?
Thanks in advance.

I have an Astra J 2011 - 1.4 Petrol and currently have an issue with it losing power & cutting out intermittently. Have had the AA out twice to get me restarted, first time they replaced coil pack, for it only to cut out again, replaced coil pack with original and it started and ran fine to get me home. Second time they just unplugged coil pack and plugged it back in and car started immediately. Have taken the car to two different garages and neither have found any fault codes or anything logged in the system. No issues found at all.
Has anyone ever seen this?

Hi all.
So my car currently has lug nuts that are 19mm hex size and I've ordered some locking wheel nuts that are 17mm hex. The thread and bolt sizes are a match but the hex is different. Other than being an annoyance for my tyre fitters will this cause any other problem, or do I need to buy 19mm ones instead?

hi all, so I’m new to the insignia club.
I have the cp400 stereo, my phone will connect with Bluetooth and it works fine but I’m unable to stream music.
I do not have a USB port only an aux port.
What are my options. I’d even be happy with a usb stick if I could get an adapter for the six. But I’m not sure if the sterio has a built in mp3 decoder.
Any advice would be great. Thanks!
