I am actually interested on CD400 updating.

ive got a clicking noise when i hit the throttle pedal and the turbo kicks in.the clicking noise is for a second or two.
some times i hear it some times not.it happens when i accelerate hard and it seems to be coming from the engine bay or underneath that area.cars fine otherwise.
anybody got any ideas what it could be.

Hi there, ive got a problem with my 1.4T that I cant get my head around!

Starts fine, but when i pull off and start driving it:
- sounds like its running on 3 cylinders
- idles rough when i pull up
- hardly any power when accelerating


Ive replaced the coil pack and the spark plugs but still no joy. Cant find any obvious vaccum leak either! Its driving me nuts anybody have an idea?

I was trying to view Rusty’s How To on fitting mud flaps but the photos are replaced by a photo bucket error message. Is it me or you?

Hi all,

Bought a new (for me) 2014 GTC in Feb and love it!

However, I've noticed that on cold the engine ticks for around 15-30 seconds on cold, then dies down but can still be faintly heard. When cold it's so loud I can hear it from inside the cabin with all the windows shut.

I've got a 2-year warranty so have taken it back and Vauxhall told me that it's normal for the model? I've spoken to an independent mechanic and he's convinced it's tappits even though I've been told they're hydraulic on these cars... 
Though Vauxhall tell me I shouldn't be, I'm obviously worried about it. It's only done 12k!

Please could anyone comment with their thoughts? Is it normal? Should I get a second opinion?

Short story, I need to know the diameter and thread pitch of a 2010 Insignia Sports Tourer wheel studs.

Long story: I switched to my summer tires (or tyres?) around 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed that one of my lug nuts is missing and, more worryingly, all my lug nuts were loose.

After tightening them, I went to the stealership to buy a new lug nut but the one they gave me, after checking my VIN, does not fit. It threads on the stud just fine but the outside of the nut is too big and barely fits inside the rim. The wrench does not fit and I cannot tighten it down. 

Basically I just found out that my rims are not OEM, neither are the lug nuts. The lug nuts are longer, chromed and take a size 19 wrench. I found some such nuts online but they have different thread pitch and dimensions. Since they only sell a full set, I don't want to just trust the seller that says "ye', they'll fit".
