Hummels´s progress thread Astra GTC 2,0CDTi
Hi

For some reason, that I don´t understand, my GTC was from factory not ordered with factory LED rear lamps despite having front LED DRL and AFL light.
I had to rectify that mistake. Price from dealer was 850£ + 70£ wiring. I managed to get it all for 450£ with wiring as my workplace imports Valeo parts from France.

I also bought HappyBlue OBD module so I can make rearlights and numberplate light not to be shown with bulb warnings in the display. With HappyBlue module you can also alter alot

The goodbye thread
Morning,

Well after 4 years 8 months of ownership and travelling 129,950 miles in her I said goodbye to my beloved Astra GTC:

[Image: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a260/j...slngrm.jpg]

It was an emotional farewell particularly because I sold it to webuyanycar.com - the condition and mileage just would mean it would be worth nothing and the cash value offered

Progress thread: Frank's Insignia
Been browsing this website for a bit now, and since I've got a few plans I figured it'd be cool to keep a progress log of whatever I'll do to the car. It's not an Astra like most of you guys drive, it's not a right-hand drive either and in fact it's not even a Vauxhall but I still hope I'm welcome

MW2299's Progress Thread
So, I bought my Astra 1.3 CDTI Exclusiv last month.

It had steel wheels, a towbar attached and no modifications whatsoever! It's a small engine which is good for someone of my age who's insurance is sky high.

Here's a picture of it when it was still at the dealership:

Then, I had my three rear windows blacked out and fitted my new plates:

I ordered black one to fit the rest of the screws.
