I sold my Vectra, had an Astra J for a short time and then got a BMW which I had for almost a year.. Kinda missed the Astra from day one but stuck with it.

With service and MOT time looming I decided it was time for a change.


I managed to find a garage with the right spec car and managed to get a straight swap for my 2009 BMW 320D for this 2010 Astra SRI CDTI. My BMW was worth a fraction more but I'm more

This week i plan on install Heko wind deflectors, led`s to number plate,interior,and boot.
Also ordered some smoked tinted indicators.
Then eibach 30mm drop if it doesn`t rub on full lock (waiting on members f

Gave it a quick polish with autoglym super resin then extra gloss protection.

Thought I'd do one..... It's not going to be quite on the same level as some of the other cars on here but to me, buying and hanging a little tree air freshener is an upgrade......

First thing I wanted to do was change the alloys so I bought the diamond cut ones you see on GTC's, BiTurbos and Zafira Tourers.

Well considering i've been on this forum since February and have made a few changes to the Astra, i thought it time to do a progress thread. I don't have photos for everything but for what i do, i'll post here.

So 2015 came and i'd grown tired of my old car, so after 4yrs of ownership and 50k miles i wanted a change so the hunt began. At first i'd settled on a 1.6 Titanium X Focus, however the price tag meant that it just wasn't feasible at that time so i started looking elsewhere for something

Hi All,

I recently brought a 12 Plate 2.0 CDTi Astra J, and its great to have found a dedicated forum, with lots of knowledge on retro fitting, and modifying for when I inevitably get stuck


Mods to the car so far:
Full rear de badge, including rear badge with bulge removed and re-sprayed.
Sub woofer - First thing I put in any car
After market fascia adapter (Still using a single din at the moment so looks a bit tacky)
