Service done. Had to pay an 1/2hr labour for them to untwist a brake pipe after I had new brakes done a few months back.
Was told he couldn't get the locking nut off as the key was rounded.
I would have thought anyone with some sense would have called me and told me about this and offered to sell me a new wheel nut key but no. He managed to u twist it without removing the wheel anyway.
Parts dept was closed when I picked up the car so does anyone m ow how much vx charge and is it a new key or d

So I have a big service on Monday and I've been told I should get an emission control service too which is only an extra £25 of my hard earned money. Now it was explained as a sort of engine flush along with flushing oil out or something before they put fresh oil in... Sounds beneficial! Wondering if you guys would recommend this or is it just a scam?

For a week or two each time I start the car, I am getting a message which reads 'Service vehicle soon'. Does anyone have any experience and is this telling me it is producing a fault code somewhere (as this is what I suspect) ? If so, does anyone have a fault code reader in the Cheshire area that may be able to offer some help and advice? Thanks, Graham in Winsford.

The bit that's hand written basically means that it should normally cost £650 but they quoted me at £453. As for the AA bit, after the first service they activate the AA top level of cover for a year and it gets renewed after every service for 3 years. This means that I get cover to the value of £142 year via AA totalling roughl

Overtime my car is on auto stop and then i press the clutch to get going agin this message always comes up. EVERY single time this happens without fail. the car is only 3 weeks old so its a bit weird... anyone had this before?

I would like to know what is done within this service as I haven't got a clue.

Hi guys, any one know how to get rid of this? Pops up each time car is started.
Car idles a little rough when cold and got that blasted turkey noise back, anything to do with these do u think?
Or does it mean it's due a service although not until August / September time

Just had my car serviced today, they said they cannot reset the service notice as it just keeps coming back, and it probably means there is an issue somewhere.
They also said that the radiator fan runs on high constantly. This I had noticed about 4 days before booking it in, it just started.

Hi guys, vx did a major service yesterday. Started the car and it struggled to fire up eventually it did. I put it down to maybe fuel needing purging or something like that.
Switch it off it starts fine.
Left the car for an hour and same thing took about 5 seconds to start.
Now I do still have the problem with glow plugs (don't know how much it will cost, anyone any ideas?) but it still started perfectly fine.
Anyone got any ideas what I can look for? I have a plan with warranty direct so wonder

Help! My undertray service flap has somehow come undone and is flapping around while i drive causing noise and buffeting. Dont know how it came undone but im afraid of it snapping off completely. Any suggestions what to do? I dont have access to a jack or ramp at moment
