Coil spring rear buy used or new
Hi All,
I just had a mot done today and it failed due to driver side rear the coil spring is broken.

Are they easy to change ? Do you buy them new or used from ebay ?

Where do you buy your parts from or do you use the local dealer like General traffic who sells car parts and consumable.

Do you need to change the one which is damaged or do you need to change the pair.

I very hardly drive the car and I and drive carefully and I am very surprised the coil spring is already broken, a

Looking for a Spare wheel or Space Saver
Hi Everyone

Is anyone selling a reasonable price spare wheel or spacesaver for a GTC, I believe they are 5 x 115.

I an not sure how big of a wheel I can fit in, so hoping one of you can advise me?

Also I need the big plastic nut thing that holds the wheel down.

Ideally close to Rotherham or if willing to post, I have checked ebay and was quite shocked at the prices

Need usb connection or din 1 on Astra J Elite
I am replacing my old Astra G with an Astra J Mk 6 , I am selecting from the local VX dealer, currently I am looking at reg DG15 JWO, which is an Elite spec.

I replaced the ICE system in the old Astra G with a single Din Kenwood KDC 3054U Radio/CD player with a USB socket.
It is the USB facility which I use the most for playing my music from a memory stick, but I understand from the sales dept that the Astra J does not have a USB socket incorporated in the entertainment centre.

If sales

Injectors or SCV problem?
I have a problem with my 1.7 in the morning. I can feel it vibrate a bit to strong when the engine is cold. Everything is back to normal after 4 minutes. I haave read the injectors values and they are jumping around for 4 minutes until injectors will stabilize. Any in here that can read these values and tell me if the injectors are running properly?

Astra GTE - Mk2 - Anyone selling one or know of one?
Been a childhood dream of mine, and I think I now need to fulfil it.

I've looked at a few online over the last couple of years and anything that remotely floats my boat is way over priced or needs a complete "Car SOS" style rebuild and is just a rot box.

I dont mind putting in some cosmetic work, but its got to be a totally standard example.

So if anyone knows of anyone selling a Mk2 Astra GTE, please let me know.

Im sick of looking at other peoples cars, need to have my own now.

Changing Rear Shock Absorbers. Astra-J Hatch. Replace or reuse bottom bolts?
Hi folks,

I'm about to change the rear shocks on my car, and according to the info on the Vauxhall workshop manuals website the bottom bolt that connects the shock to the suspension arm should not be reused, but a new one fitted.

The torque settings given are to tighten initially to 150 Nm, and then tighten a further 65 degrees. This suggests to me that it's a stretch bolt. Am I correct?

In all the years I've replaced shock absorbers on various Vauxhall cars, this is the first time I've
