Hi

My car has this warning come on and the steering goes very heavy and it's pretty dangerous when it happens whilst driving.

It will then turn off and then not come on again for a few days.

Has anyone had an issue with this before? I've had a brand new steering rack put in and checked the battery and alternator which are both fine.

Nightmare scenario 1 week out from MOT ABS light and Service ESP message along with the traction control light have come on.



I have opcom and I tried firstly to clear all faults lights came straight back.



The only portion of the diagnostic code i can see is as follows:

Hi all,

I hope someone can assist. Is there anyway to completely open up the rear clusters. 

I have an odd issue where my brake light clear section has snapped in both the rear clusters and rattles around within the larger cluster. I have removed both but after removing the group bulbs out the  rear I cannot find how to disassemble the rest. It looks like anti tamper screws have been used.

Not so much an issue but it keeps on knocking on the brake bulbs and causes intermittent errors wh

Hi Everyone

I could do with some advice to help with an issue that has just surfaced.

I started my Petrol GTC this morning (27/10/2018). The warning lights came on as normal and then all went our except for the Yellow Engine Warning Light. This light stayed on. The car seems fine to drive. It has done 13,010 miles, had a full service 4 months ago and has been sitting in the drive for the last 3 weeks doing nothing while I recover from an operation. The rear light drives side has stopped working. At first, I thought it was a bulb problem. Bulb ok. So the next thought that it must be the bulb holders. But check that on another car and on the opposite side. I've ruled that out as well. So it can only be the wiring or the plug itself. Can this be bought separately? Or is it a case of tapping into the wiring loom with a 2nd hand plug.

Hello all

What happened this morning was that during acceleration the car (Astra J 1.6) behaved like misfiring, acceleration was slow and car was "Jerking" then Electronic Stabilization Control lit got on and Engine Light started to blink. After acceleration the car was running normally and idling normally both light went off.  Next time when accelerating same happened again I do not know yet which lit came first on and which one first off - can check later. No codes found in engine section.

I have been trying numerous led bulbs on my 5 door as they are possibly the worse reversing lights in the world!
but all have been throwing a error on the dashboard.
Some where supposed too be canbus error free... Oh the things they say to sell them!

Can anyone point me in the direction of one that's bright and doesn't throw a error?

Yesterday a little accident occurred and has caused for me to be in desperate search for a light replacement (bumper being fixed at later date) I’ve searched high and low on eBay I have tried the vehicle match service to find the proper light for my car but it seems to just continuously say nothing will fit my car.
