Retro fitting factory options
Does retro fitting factory options count as a modification?

TPMS (Tyre pressure monitor system)
AFL (Adaptive Forward lighting with Bi xenons)

Both of which make the car safer and I read somewhere that the EU are going to make it compulsory that all new cars have TPMS and Xenon headlamps.

I know it's a modification to the car but they are factory options and all genuine parts have been used rather than aftermarket light units.

Fitting visible exhaust tip
Hi all

I'm SURE I saw a post on how to fit a visible exhaust tip to the J by just cutting the splitter & bolting an eBay tip on.

May have been @tucpal ?

I can't remember if you need to angle grind the downturn off or not, I'm hoping I can do it without welding as I have everything but a welder!

If there's no how to, can anyone help with what needs to be done?

Cheers

Fitting VXR bumpers?
I'm considering, budget depending on fitting VXR bumpers to my 2.0 CDTI. I've got a couple of questions if someone wouldn't mind. I've tried searching but have found no conclusive answers.

Is the front bumper a straight swap? Also are there holes by the fog lights on the VXR bumper, seen some on ebay with holes and wondered if they were VXR bumpers or biturbo or something?

Is it possible to swap the rear bumper? Would I need a new exhaust? Also any further comments or tips?

Any help wo

Fitting Electric Rear Windows
Has anyone fitted electric rear window motors to a 5 door Tech Line?
Just looking for any info as to whether the wiring is present etc?
I have sourced motors from a 2013 Astra Elite, will they just be the same for a 2015 model?

Only problem is I haven't a clue how to fit - where could I get them fitted for me and how much would I be looking at?

Thanks.

Towbar fitting/electrics
Has anyone ever diy fitted a towbar to there J. I need one for my sports tourer to pull my trailer. Just looking into it I want a removable Swan neck but there's two types of electrics dedicated and universal. Im just wondering if I buy dedicated does it just plug into the car. Does anything need activating in the ecu after fitting. I'm not worried about the spannering just don't wanna be chopping wires in my nice shiny astra
