2013 GTC 1.6t engine under tray
Hi,

Quick question - Should a 2013 Astra GTC 1.6t petrol have a plastic under tray? I was filling the screen wash in my car and suddenly realised I could see the ground beneath my engine.

I can't remember my last car not to have one.

GTC Engine Undertaray
Hi Guys

Lost my engine undertray recently when reversing out from a very snowy country road but unfortunately did not realise for a couple of days. I have noticed a fair few listed for the Astra J Hatchback and just wondered if the fixing points are the same for the GTC

Many thanks

Engine Oil grade / spec / amount
Hey guys

Have a 1.7 diesel Astra J 62 plate. I am planning on changing the oil and filter weekend.

Can anyone tell me:

1)What grade is needed for my car

2) What specification I should be looking for on the back of oil bottle?

3) How many litres it holds?

Thanks again guys cannot find my manual.

Astra J 1.7 81kw engine power
Hi, I have an Astra J, 1.7 diesel - 81kw from 2010 and I have a big problem for more than a year. When the engine is at normal temperature (90 degrees) when I drive constant between 1800-2100 RPM the whole car shuddered. When the engine is cold there is no problem.

I cleaned the EGR (only EGR is clean now, not the whole admission system), I changed it with a second one and also changed it with a new one and the problem persists. If I unplug the EGR cable, the problem doesn't appear. On the te

Cold engine idle
Hi, I've just bought my first diesel and it happens to be a GTC SRI 2 ltr CDTi. I love it. My only question so far is that when I initially start the engine from cold, it's not a smooth idle and you can feel it through the car with a slight rocking. Is this normal? A common problem? After a few minutes, it idles fine and there seems to be no other issues. I searched for the answer before posting so apologies if the answer is buried here somewhere.

Thanks.

Engine Coolant and remote locking
Hi All,
I bought my car about 6 months ago, its only 5 years old and had less than 40k on the clock. At first I had two issues with the car, the engine coolant light was coming on even though it had just been serviced and remote locking with the buttons in the car was hit and miss, sometimes they'd work other times it wouldnt, same with taking the key out, it wouldn't automatically unlock the doors at times.
I took it back to lookers and they spent around 3 weeks in total with the car (lockin
