Got my HappyBLue but the DPF diagnostic shows nothing. Any idea? changed the license plate to LED, the fault override seems not to work... upon starting still am getting the "Check licence plate light". Is all of that normal?

I need to top up Motor oil, can i use this to top up Oil from Asda Castrol Magnetec 5W 30 or do i just buy another 5 litre from Vauxhall, as this is different brand and may be slightly different viscosity, which i am not sure.

I keep getting the message on the dash every few weeks on the Astra CDTI 20111 saying DPF full, continue driving.

My thoughts are to sell the car and get a petrol, but we like the car and waited ages to find the right one. So I have been speaking to a local garage who did a DPF removal and Remap on my mates BMW X5.

Basically, the guy at the garage said they wont remove it on the J, but they drill holes in the filter, and then re-map the ECU. All in £350.00.

Whats your thoughts

I was having a look at how full my DPF was this morning with my op-com and it was showing 91% . I was wondering how to get this down because I’d heard using the op-com to do a forced regen is not recommended?

Hi all, newbe here so apologies if this has been asked before.

Im going to replace my DPF pressure sensor on my 2011 Astra J 2.0cdti  A20DTH engine.
Does the new sensor need to be learned in by the car or is it a straight swap?
Whats the best sensor to get, ie Bosch? or genuine GM etc.  Anyone got link they can reply with?

P.S Is AutoVaux recommended for parts?

I don't know if anyone has used this but I stumbled across it today and is showing to be working when Paired to my ELM 327 Bluetooth OBD Dongle, basically it shows the DPF Soot level, distance since last regen and DPF temperature. Very handy if you want to keep an eye on things. The app is called OPL DPF Monitor Lite and is free in the Playstore. I've attached a screenshot of it working today on my 2.0 CDTI. Dpf says 131% on opcom and over 6k miles since last regen :/

Saturation levels are 131% and will not regen any one know anybody who can possibly diagnose issue? Ran opcom but no codes?

Saying 73% full.... But over 20k miles since last regen?
