hi all, I had previously mentioned about the front delayed thump from brake. I've just noticed that when I brake the light is staying on even after my foot is off the pedal and then I hear the noise as if the caliper is releasing. I think maybe this means it is sticking. Would this be covered under the warranty? Also I've noticed there is no warning messages. My bulb went no message. My oil is at 47% life. No message when it got to 50. Also should I get a full oil flush now or wait till it's dow

Hi I have an Astra J 2011 Estate 1.6 Automatic.
We use i as a delivery vehicle.
I would like to know if anyone has or know if the electric hand brake can be reprogrammed to come on automatically  
when the engine is switched off.

Hi has anyone had this check brake lights before? Happened twice before but noticed 1 of the leds burnt out on top brake light the first time so replaced the unit but got this re appearing again tonight and don't have any brake lights out, so was just to see of anyone has had the same issue before I start stripping lights out and checking earths etc as if it was just one I would have thought it would specify which one.[IMG]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180108/d5a7f2b539726f6db26be7ef8ee0fea

appears that I have rounded bleed nipples on my calipers, does anybody know the part numbers for them? have looked on ebay but only seem to be able to find nipples for the Astra H! does anybody know if these will fit?

I changed all the pads on my Astra J at the weekend and now it feels like the front are sticking a little bit, in fact the wheel was quite hot this morning after driving.

Any ideas what could have caused this? I have bled the brakes...do they need bleeding again?

Hi, I have a 2012 Astra Elite 2.0 CDTI auto which I've had for a month.

When releasing the brake after holding at traffic lights or stop start traffic etc, the car jumps forward as if it is late in engaging drive again.

I have an Astra GTC 62 plate 1.7 diesel.

I need to replace rear brake pads and discs. I'm looking on Euro car parts and there are two types of discs and pads. Is there anyway of knowing which pads and discs are correct short of measuring it all and buying numerous variations?

Hey guys I have a Astra gtc 2013 1.7 diesel .

Looking to change my rear brakes and got a few questions. Does anyone know the:

1) Torque specs: Brake caliper bolts
2) Torque specs: Caliper Bracket bolts
3) Torque specs: Wheel bolts
3) Winding back rear calipers : Clockwise or anti clockwise?

Any other tips that you think are important feel free to chip in. Thanks again

Hi all. I'm considering getting my GTC 1.6T remapped for a bit of extra grunt and was wondering if there were any recommendations for somewhere in or around London? Also, I need to replace the discs and pads and was wondering if there are any reasonable upgrades that don't cost the earth? Thanks for any help or advice for both questions. Rog.
