High Idle 1.7 cdti
I have a problem with high idle. I replaced the scv this weekend but still the same problem. It's not constant but sometimes idle goes to constant 1,200 even when engine is hot. If I switch car off and restart again it goes to high idle.
From some reasearch someone mentioned alternator problems could some shed some light on this problem please ?
Scv rotation position does it make a difference ?

I got this car because it has so many great qualities and the phone connection/bluetooth being 1 of them, as I've not had this before so was appealing. I search on this forum about this issue, i don't know if it's common or not i couldn't find any answer.
I own an Astra J Hatchback 1.7 CDTI 96kw 131hp 2012 (A17DTF) with ECU ACDelco AA6P 55584315.
I got 2 main errors prompted on OPCOM and also on other diag tools.
P261A -- Low voltage on Auxiliary Water Pump Circuit (this was the first time i diagnosticated the problem on a service with a delphi tool)
P067A -- cylinder*4 glow plug control circuit low voltage

Does anybody know if there is any big difference between the 2 sensor water pumps that are on the 1.7 engine . Opel Astra J
The sensor pump from nr crt 8 is very expensive and very hard to find, i'm wondering if i can change it with nr crt 7 and also change the pulley as it's different.
Basically should do the same thing no?

Astra 1.7 CDTI fuel quality problem
Hey guys, I am a new user of a used Astra 1.7 CDTI 2011 and I've been told by some people around that this car is very sensitive to fuel quality.
Now the problem is that in my country fuel quality is the worst, there's absolutely no assurance of the quality no matter where you try to get the fuel around here, and chances are that the kind of diesel we have is just slightly better than the one your country uses only for agricultural vehicles.
Is there anything I can do to make it less of a prob

I bought a 13 reg Astra J 1.7 diesel 3 years ago & I need a new battery..
Is it a straight swap in & out or are there any nuances I need to know before I change? Alarm/door lock/anti theft etc etc
I dont know if my car has a stop start system because it never worked but would not surprise me if it had it?
Is there any way of know whether a car has stop/start system or not

DPF problems cold weather 1.7 cdti 110 hp A17DTE
Hi, I have an astra j 2013 1.7 cdti 110 hp A17DTE and as soon as the weather has cooled it shows me that the DPF is full and to continue driving. What could be the reasons why the car makes so many regenerations if for example today I drove 1000 km on the highway and everything was ok and tomorrow morning when I start the car I get a warning with DPF on board. Any opinion is highly appreciated.

For the 2nd time now I have encountered the same issue.
My car doesn't get used much for long trips nowadays but I encountered this problem on his last long trip a week ago and one month ago:
Car driving fine, full power no error messages.
Suddenly no power when pushing gas pedal, car begins to stutter instead. But still runs in idle. Engine light comes on.
This problem gets worse over the next seconds until the car runs so rough in idle it stalls.
