Hi guys, two things that have started happening so hoping someone has experienced them.
Firstly, on first start (so cold) while accelerating car sounds like screaming when you would normally hear a whistling. Goes after 10 secs or so and only on first start up.
Hoping maybe a small hole in boost pipe and not the turbo starting to fail!
Also got the "Turkey gobbling" noise back maybe connected?

Second I noticed at mcdonalds drive thru. Window down to pay and pressing brake pedal can hear a noise

So yesterday I drove from Norfolk to West Yorkshire ~150 miles and noticed that now my car is idling a bit odd, will idle fine then the revs drop a little & it almost chugs a bit, then goes back to normal and the car idles ok again, then the cycle starts again. It doesn't cut out and no warning light.

I thought it was just doing a regen but it did it yesterday afternoon, evening, and today both times I've driven it. Ive now done probably 40 miles with it like it (that I've noticed

Hi guys I got the astra 1.7 cdti as you prob all know the gear box is crap lol,I have read up on changing the gear box oil ... Most people say that the vaux one is shot they basically use the same for power steering ... I was thinking of using thishttp://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=181494589911&alt=web 
it states that it is ok for a 1.7 cdti but I want to be sure before I buy it ... My friend has the m32 box in his corsa and he put this oil in it and he said it feels a lot smoother 

I would like to know that what sort of miles your getting out of a full tank..

Im struggling to get 400 miles out of the full tank and my mate at work has a 2.0 and get around 600miles out it and I'm wondering if i have an issue i don't know about.

So I have been letting my issue develop and I still don't hav a clue what the causes are.

No:1, chirping/squeal from engine, does it on idle and now does it when Reving the engine, I'm pretty sure it's not the aux belt because this sounds more at the back of the engine. Once cured by replacing fuel filter but hasn't worked this time.

No:2, engine breathing really hard for no reason what's so ever, has anyone had this problem before? Other minor things that co

His card reader says my Astra is 92kw, but my registration says its 81kw.
How can I physically tell the difference?

Hi could anybody help with my astra j starting issue.it starts very intermittantly when engine is warm will not start at all. Runs very well when aventually does start. I have changed glow plugs, fuel filter, but cant locate the fuel pump to see if that is an issue.had it to the dealer and they want to do a process of alimination which i cant afford...any ideas please help.
