How does your partner feel?

How does your partner feel about you spending money on mods & wasting time playing around with the car?

I'm lucky my wife just says it's your money it's up-to you what you do with it, she also doesn't care that I hide myself away in the garage for however long I'm in there.

I'm also lucky because I can rope her into helping me (sometimes you have to make use of them smaller hands).

We both live together and we were both looking at spending £6k-£7k EACH on a car, then we said 'why not buy one together'. When we sell it or go our seperate ways we will split the cash.

Insurance is only 1 policy as well, we both work at the same place, same shifts, same apartment LOL!!

It works supprisingly well, there generally isnt a time when we both need the car at once

I'm into my cars, he isnt, for him its 'a car', for me its 'my baby'

Mine's not into car's but she is more than willing to help me with mine.

On the old GTE she helped with all sorts from fitting engines and building the car up from a rolling shell so she's more than willing to get her hands dirty. She will make jokes about been a car widow etc. at times but she is fine with me doing stuff on it as long as it's tasteful and doesn't make the car look anything that looks cheap or from Halfords.

Not done much with the car since I got it due to having to sort the house out. Still got the front garden/drive to do :( but once they are done I'll have more free time.
