The oil is meant to be lifetime so in theory doesn't need changing.

But I changed mine at 27000m
Astra-J 2.0 CDTI S/S

DEXRON 6 fluid, you gonna need some sort of diagnostic tool that can tell you the fluid temperature. Fluid needs to be at 85-95C when checking the level. Slight underfill doesn't hurt but slight overfill will make box shift like crap.
