This is my Astra 1.4 SRI VVT MY10.5..
I am starting a progress thread so i can keep all the upgrades and mods
that i have done over the last 2 years in one place.
INTERIOR UPGRADE LIST....
I started with painting the interior trim a peal white and gloss black
I have swapped the rubber pedal cover for the VXR alloy covers
I have swapped the seats over for the leather heated seats with electric lumber support
and i have dyed a white stripe to the seats to go with the black and white trim.
and i upgraded all the speakers to alpine, and fully sound dampened the car
As well as fitting the leather seats i got the heater controls and the heated seats working
this was plug and play i just put the heater controls in and they worked.
There was a bit of wiring to do too get the electric lumber support working but it is working.
I then retro fitted power fold mirrors and retro fitted the factory Bluetooth
also i fitted a DTUK pedal box and a Superchip Bluefin remap
I then fitted some foot well lights
and retro fitted the front and rear ambient door lights
I also retro fitted the anti dazzle rear view mirror
the sensor at the top of the mirror is for the reverse parking sensors i did
Also i got the EPB button swapped over for the chrome trim one
and got a irmscher badge made for the cup holder
I also upgraded the console and sun visor bulbs to LED,s
]
And i got some black and white car mats
i did some red stitching on the gear surround and made the numbers on the gear stick white
and i plasti dipped the roof console black
That is the interior covered now for the out side mods i have done
OUT SIDE MODS...
I have upgraded to the 19 inch SRI alloys 235 40 r19 conti sport contact 3 tyers
and i painted the calipers red and the inside of the alloys anthracite.
i have put on the alloy door pins
smoked side repeaters
and plasti dipped the back ground of the rear griffin badge.
I have put the badge less front grill on the front bumper in gloss black
and put on the irmscher front lower spoiler
and put on a black number plate surround
I have retro fitted the factory DAB to the car in full working order
and i have put the shark fin Ariel on the roof.
i have removed the window trim from the car and had it painted in gloss black
and i put a irmscher logo on the rear trim
and put Hako wind deflectors on the windows
also i retro fitted the mirrors and they are now power fold
and i fitted the VX line roof spoiler
and i also put chrome door handles on the car
and tinted the rear windows and front quarters.
i added the VX line rear lower spoiler
tinted the rear window
and fitted some parking sensors to the rear of the car
The VX LINE SIDE SKIRTS WERE THEN PUT ON THE CAR.
well just a blog update
the latest thing that i have done is to finely get around to fitting the factory DAB
it is all working and the sound is stunning compared to the FM so i am really happy with that
and also i have had the NAV 500 with sat nav retro fitted as well
and i am very very happy with that also
Late update but LED DRL,s and LED NUMBER PLATE LIGHTS AND LED rear FOG LIGHT
and silver Tec front indicator bulbs have been done.
Plus I changed front and rear discs and pads and annual service has been done.
please read the below posts for more up to date pics the car has changed alot.

wright car booked in wednesday for rear hatch tinting
as i still have not got it done after fitting the DAB and replacing the rear window so it is about time that got done
also next wednesday car goes in for alloy refurb powder coating decided on antracite
but he say he has a gunmetal that is very popular so i will check that out
and the VXLINE bumper comes home from paint this wednesday so that will be done in the next week or so
i will also be rewrapping the window trims gloss black
as the paint has started to scratch
and i will also be lowering the car in two weeks time
then the car goes back to the paint shop to get a dint fixed that a kind person did with their shopping trolley
so this will be a very busy 3 weeks for me but all will be ready for trax.

Do you know if you can have two colours when powder coating as I want silver on the front and Anthracite inside.

The only thing that puts me off the window switch wrapping is the pull/push can't be done and it looks odd then.

]
no front splitter will fit the VXLINE to my knowledge
the lower bumper on the vxline molds in better at the bottom the splitter is part of the bumper
there is no black plastic spitter and the bottom and i love that
i love the way it is now so no more plans for the front
there will be two other things happening next week but you will all have to wait and see on that one.
then the car will be complete.

3 days to paint vrs 3 hours to wrap
the lacquer i use to paint them originally had started to crack
my fault to much too quick
so i opted to wrap them for quickness and so they match the other
window trim bits i wrapped last week.
takes some time but they do look good

thanks to birkenhead powered coats on the wirral.
So this is the finished car now and a completely different look
to how it was a few weeks back but i am 100% all done now at last
