Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 8:th-Aug-2014 here is all the pics i have at the moment. ] no front splitter will fit the VXLINE to my knowledge the lower bumper on the vxline molds in better at the bottom the splitter is part of the bumper there is no black plastic spitter and the bottom and i love that i love the way it is now so no more plans for the front there will be two other things happening next week but you will all have to wait and see on that one. then the car will be complete. Progress thread Tucpal - Cameron UK - 12:th-Aug-2014 Rusty2009 Wrote:Glad your getting there mate, don't forget to ask if a you can have two colours when powder coating please. I asked when I enquired about mine, just the one they said Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 12:th-Aug-2014 i will ask but i am 95% sure they can not Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 12:th-Aug-2014 it is going to be a big change going to anthracite but i am bored of silver now i have seen a j in silverlake with anthracite alloys and it did look good to me Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 13:th-Aug-2014 just in the process of wrapping the mirrors one down and one more to go but i am pleased with the results so far. hard work but worth it Progress thread Tucpal - Rusty2009 - 14:th-Aug-2014 Gotta be fair easier to paint them gloss black. Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 14:th-Aug-2014 3 days to paint vrs 3 hours to wrap the lacquer i use to paint them originally had started to crack my fault to much too quick so i opted to wrap them for quickness and so they match the other window trim bits i wrapped last week. takes some time but they do look good Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 14:th-Aug-2014 here are the widow mirrors wrapped gloss black And also the last piece of the puzzle has been done at last the alloys have been refurbed in anthracite i love the color they look brand new again thanks to birkenhead powered coats on the wirral. So this is the finished car now and a completely different look to how it was a few weeks back but i am 100% all done now at last Progress thread Tucpal - Rusty2009 - 14:th-Aug-2014 Looking good mate. Maybe a bit too low thou. Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 14:th-Aug-2014 the 40mm pro kit i dont think they do a 30mm i may be wrong Progress thread Tucpal - Cameron UK - 14:th-Aug-2014 Your car is perfect, not too low!! The wheels look so much better than black!! Looks amazing mate! Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 15:th-Aug-2014 thanks they are much better seen in the flesh they shine and have a metallic look also. and powder coated is so much better they look factory fresh now we had a good talk about the color and i could chose from a few different shades but we all agreed on this color and i am happy with the outcome |
