trip computer

im confused is there more than 1 type of trip computer on the GTC.the reason i ask is mine only shows 1 piece of information at a time like this

but in the manual it looks like you can get multiple information at the same time like this


just curious if there is an update to get the multiple info. any help would be great

Yes, there are two different types of display, and as far as I'm aware the only way to get the upper display is to change the entire cluster and have it coded to your car which I'm not sure can be done either as it may show as a hardware conflict or words to that effect. Not 100% sure though.

There are 3 types of displays you have the middle one.

To swap out is not easy (first one did programmed up no issues) then GM tightened everything up so only way now is by changing the VIN etc in the eeprom.
