I went with 15% and I think it's perfect. Can't see in but can see out. I don't have auto dimming so wouldn't know. Also it does keep back of car cooler than before.

Looking good! I went for 15% too and agree it's spot on. Mine were £115.

I remember reading that about the auto dim not working when tinting to dark. Wasn't something I was looking at anyway tbh. Nice one Jj, I don't mind paying £145 as they have a great reputation and everyone up here seems to use them,

Tempted to get this done now. As it's been on my mind the amount of tinted cars you see is mad.
Has anyone tried doing it themselves? Found I site where you can buy them pre cut

Yeah mate it's definitely worth doing! As long as the tint is good quality and you have a heat gun I can't see it being too hard to do. I'd still just let a shop do it properly though

Ok so latest update I have literally just finished is the footwells again, I changed the blue to red and have literally just finished adding the red to the rear footwells. ![[Image: 1662a478c00e4f8058d5770518ccfcaa.jpg]](http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11/04/1662a478c00e4f8058d5770518ccfcaa.jpg) ![[Image: 876bc2c65d3665e7419b77fcc5a8a8a4.jpg]](http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11/04/876bc2c65d3665e7419b77fcc5a8a8a4.jpg)
The red does go so much better with the gear stick ambient lighting!

Don't you hate it when companies just add a sticker etc to your car, when I picked up the J I spotted the dealer sticker and asked if they were going to pay me to advertise for them when they said no I asked if they sought my permission to put the sticker on my property to which they said no, needless to say it removed when I got home....

Haha my J didn't have the usual Arnold Clark sticker on which I was happy about. However the tinting company used to ask people and knock off a little bit of the cost of you put their logo on, nowadays they don't ask and just do it lol.
Looking at this pic o definitely need a shark fin aerial... Where is best as I don't have dab or nav... Eventually would like the apple car play kenwood/pioneer setup but not sure if I'd need gps shark fin or not... Help @Rusty2009 lol!

I'm hoping soon to upgrade to the one that has the GPS on although the head unit (if you go for it) will have a GPS ant supplied
but here are the link
FM/AM DAB DAB+

FM/AM DAB DAB+ GPS

You will need to buy some additional parts though.

Ah right well if you're selling the one you have I'll have dibs if I have the cash at the time ;p
So this is probably most likely what I'd get, it works from phone right?? So a normal fm shark fin would be fine??

It's either something like this or the car vision nav which I believe is also plug and play and a straight swap over. I'd prefer to have nav screen at top and keep all controls too! Just comes down to cost lol!

I've not got around to trying anything yet but when I put the rain X on that has seemed to help a little but maybe a metal polish would be best

I ve tried several chrome/metal polish products with no luck. I 've even tried paint polish. I think powerful chemicals (PH>7) used by car washes is the reason for this

This morning there was a break in the rain so I decided to fit my new shark fin. It's not a flash expensive one and only cost me the whole £4.95 and has not affected the signal of the fm radio at all
Very happy with it!

Ooooo where did you get the fin from?? I got one from alibaba and it looks good but it's totally flat and the roof is curved so there were gaps in it where rain could get in so I took it off... Also lost all radio stations except one aswell :/

It came with 3m tape and seems to have fit roof well enough! Time will tell as its stopped raining at the moment. I'm well impressed!
