VCI code

Anyone that can request VCI code for the tire preassure system on a astra j 2011?
Got my hands on a gm mdi unit..

you need the car to be able to do this as you need the the VCAP which is uploaded to Vauxhall and is car specific.
You will also need a VCI for the IPC.

Also if your MDI is a clone and you submit a VCI request to Vauxhall your account will be closed and the warranty on the car will be void.

Do you have any trouble requesting vci codes from vauxhall? (Or does they says its ok most of the times)

I got mine done from someone else, as at the time I didn't have a MDI,

You have to be a company etc etc and pay to use the services.

this is the site you need to get an account it costs €10.00 or 15.00 one off then you pay subscription based

Getting codes seems easy enough unless your dealer but that doesn't mean you will get it.

I've not requested one yet.

You need to have all the parts installed before you do a VCAP or you won't get the codes.

you will have to tell the odd white lie to them
like programming vci codes have been lost when you replaced a module or some thing like that
codes lost on factory reset etc
what ever you do even if you have the MDI kit is say to them you are retro fitting anything
or they will say no.
also say you are a trader

There is no how-to available for requesting VCI codes.

I'm still learning how to use the MDI I would suggest as you are new to it aswell you spend time learning it before even trying to program something on the car.

Also to program with SPS you need to supply a D-U-N-S number and Opel will then unlock your account and send you a letter like the below.
