simply splice into the old light and run the wires to were the new light will go
and cut a hole for the new light and connect the two wires to the light job done

I have just retro fitted HID Projectors into the factory headlights i got from rusty
there is a how to but it will be a day or two as i have a bit more to add to it
but they are all done and working and also i put the LED DRL,S in them again.











there will be more pic,s in the how to.

i still need to add a H7 LED for the high beam but that will have to Waite a bit longer.

I decided to do a mid winter detail on the car today in and out
clay bar, wheel clean, wax, leather balm, windows etc, pretty much everything really
and just in time before the real bad weather arrives.

40mm is a bit low i would have preferred a 30mm personally

i use this now as it works well

I wash/shampoo car first using a microfibre or wool mit
then dry it using a drying towel
Wax using the supplied microfibre cloth from autoglym
then use the G3 Body Prep Clay Mitt to apply SONAX Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer

is this correct?
Like i said I normal pay someone else to do it for me so kinda new to washing my car lol

Before you think about waxing you need to clay then compound to remove the scratches then polish then wax

as rusty says
wash the car first
then use the clay cloth with the G3 detailer
then wax and buff
i do put the sonax over the wax but that's just because i like it so much
but i just sponge it on and then buff it off.

New set of boots going on the car today

all are used and have 7.5 to 8mm tread and have had no repairs.

i Swapped the black griffin center caps i did for some genuine gloss black blitz badges. :cool

it adds a little detail to the front :cool i was looking online the other day and i came across a 2011 vxline with a front lower spoiler on it
i have never seen this before so it looks like the old lower spoiler may fit after all so i am on the look out for one
and i have two more little mods coming this week and that will be it till the summer i need to get the exhaust made before trax

to match the Blue Nav screen
