Although looking on TIS you should still have green/white.
It's in pin1 of the plug on the light.
Hi Rusty,
thanks for the comment. Apparently the green/white cable that is referred to in several how-to's is coming from the right side reverse light in my car, the yellow/white cable is for the left side reverse light and on both sides theres a purple/grey cable (I presume for the brake lights?).
Regardless, I think I found the cable in my trunk fuse panel box. I linked to two pictures that correspond to a how-to post from 2017 describing how to set up reverse sensors. Here, a user by the name of Mart showed a picture of the exact same cables that he used to hook up his reverse sensors to (link to post: https://www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-How...9#pid41619).
I just would like to ask if you by any chance have an idea if the cable indicated with the green arrow in the picture is the same cable Mart is talking about. The cable pointed at with the Red arrow is more of a geen/grey color and also a bit thinner. Down in the comments of the thread i linked above a user (named Doughy) mentions the thicker green/white cable is the correct one.
The main worry I have is hooking up the camera to the wrong cable and possibly causing some kind of damage. From all the posts I understand that I have to hook up the red, positive, wire to this reverse lights and the black, negative, to the car body...
thanks in advance for any advice/comments
the pictures in question, where the first one is an overview of the trunk fusebox panel with all the cables, encircled is the cable tree mentioned in Mart's post. The second picture is the individual cables with the two green/white green/grey cables I'm trying to distinguish from each other: https://imgur.com/a/r1rl07r
