Thanks rusty. Last night I managed to find a pair online for 95 quid after discount so have ordered a pair. (local parts place was 125 for the same ones)

Yes I saw the photo of your broken coil. I can see why you wouldn't know it when driving.

Did you replace the shock absorber bolts at the same time when you swapped your springs ?
