I've not found an insurer who offers a discount for having this type of tracker. The reason is because its not a monitored tracker i.e. not monitored by someone sat in an office and is able to forward the details to the police. Instead, it'd be up to you to track your car and inform the police of its whereabouts. I'm confident because of its accuracy, I'd get my car back in a few hours with the help of a mate in a car and to inform the police myself once I found my car.
