they will need loads on them but you are right theres only one way to find out i will get some and see
i will try them without the load resistors and see if they work and check them out in the dark for vision

They say they are error free so you shouldn't need any load resistors on them.

When fitting fit the drivers side first as all the load is on the passenger side first.

the LED above will be really bright and have that led tint only an LED or HID can give you
I MAY JUST GET THESE
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331207288885?_...EBIDX%3AIT

and see what happens

but the top link i may try first i am still 50/50

so cammaron i will take your word for it and get the MTEC from HIDS DIRECT as they do look nice and white
and that is all i want nice and white lights to match the LED DRL as the dipped beam looks real yellow now
with the LED above

about the MTEC cosmo 100w blue bulbs

in one word NAFFF Lol

honestly they did look good in the headlight they were nice and white
but the light out put was very poor as expected from a blue bulb felt like driving with no lights on
compared to the Phillips extreme vision
i did do a comparison

the pic,s speak for themselves
the lights are in alignment

MTEC COSMOS BLUE 100W

PHILIPS XTREME VISION 60W

BOTH DIPPED BEAM

And on the LED side still not done that one yet
but i would say the first one linked still looked promising

I am going to change the stock bulbs they are so bad so which are better xtreme vision or osram nb unlimited?
Reply
#26
i have tried and have both the osram night breaker plus and Phillips extreme vision
both are good bulbs with good vision at night but the Phillips extreme vision is the one that just has the edge
100% better at night than the standard bulbs for sure a big improvement
not the whitest bulb in the head light but vision is excellent they light up the road and road signs far better
i put the night breakers in the high beam and again an improvement was noticeable

is this what you are after

https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j&...7457789374

they fit the original h7 bulb or you can fit a HID kit in there also

http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/astra-mk6-h...n-35w-kit/

thanks alot i was looking for a hid kit that works without errors is the one u recommended bixenon or will i have to get two for main and dipped beam?
Reply
#33
the HID kit will be just for the main lights and is error free
high beam will be best left as a H7 standard bulb

if you get the above head light units it will have LED DRL and use the standard bulbs
but you can fit a HID kit in the main lights if you wish
the headlight is not bixenon as it uses the standard bulbs but has the bixenon look to the head lights
they say they are error free i dont see why they would not be if you put 2 H7 bulbs in there
the LED DRL should have built in loads in the head light so this should also be ok

The headlight units are quite expensive so i will get piaa for the drls and the hid kit for thr main beam
