on the vxr it's recommended to use 2.4 litres, normally 0.4 litres remains in the gearbox during an oil change - so just add two full litre bottles

Thanks for that .loads of different figures about on this was told 1.9 liters for f40 think I will drain it and see what comes out

Normally you have 2 bungs a fill and a drain, it used to be you drain it through the drain bung refit it the fill through the fill bung untill it starts to dribble out and hey presto you have the right amount of oil in. I don't know if this has changed though
NAVI950 , DAB+ & Rear Camera , quick heat, auto lights and rain sensor retrofit Smile

No its got drain at bottom and fill on the top

F40, ive read 1.8, 1.9 and 2.0 put in.

Im going for Millers oil 75w90 instead of 75w85, prob 2 full bottles (2L)

I put 2.4L in mine but did jack it up to drain it all out.....
