light scratches in windshield

ok so i always hand clean my car
and when i drove in the sun i noticed scratches (vercial and horizontal)
How can i prevent this in the future?
and can i get them out?
btw, i used a water beam last time and not a sponge.
i dried it with a soft thin towel

Can you feel them with your finger nail?

Are they scratches as opposed to smears / hazing?

Try a light polish to see if it makes a difference.

i don't think i could feel them ther realy light and only visible when the sun shines on them.
and i think they are from cleaning but i dont know how, i have been very carefull.
i'm not going to dry the windows next time, i don't want more scratches.
and you mean something like rusty has posted?

No I mean my first test is a light hand polish; assume you have some polish?

i do have a kind of wax for the paint of the car, not sure if it's the same.

Wax protects, Polish has a slight abrasive in... pop to halfords & grab some autoglym resin polish or similar

Ok tanks i will ask my dad after the weekend if he has something.
I don't know that store but i think i know a place where they will have polish.

i checked the scratches again and i am able to feel them with my nails.
and i'll probably try some thing next week, when i have the early shift at work

Now i,ve never personally tried this so cant be held accountable if it goes wrong but I was told that brasso can remove light scratches from glass
