Footwell lights

So looking at putting footwell lights into my new ride and I've read and re-read through the how tos. When looking through pages and pages of stuff on eBay I stumbled upon these...

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vie...47&alt=web

What do you guys think?

Too bright?

Can/cant be wired up to come on with the courtesy lights?

Tucpal: any thoughts?

P.S. I'm completely clueless when it comes to this stuff haha.

Those ones are would work although you would probably be better off buying LED strip light like these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-12V-3W-5050...zZwM3aPPqg

All you would need to do is crimp the connectors onto the wires and then run the wiring up to the interior lights. then make sure you get a secure live feed and an earth.

Sorry I haven't been on for a few days; had an oil leak on the new GTC which turned out to be the oil filter seal. Dealer sorted it today with no problems so all good now

@tucpal, I was a little put off by the ones linked because @tonto mentioned in one of his posts that they were a bit dull but I appreciate your help

@shortys91, by crimp do you mean splice and tape up or should I use scotch blocks? Do scotch blocks actually cut the wire or do they simply form a connection between wires?

Personally i would stay away from scotch blocks. I'm meaning if you buy bullet terminals like these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100-Red-Bullet...ZUFXZO7zrg

you can crimp them onto the ends of the wires to bridge the connections and then all you would need is some wiring to run up to the interior light

Thanks, @Shorty S91, they look spot on. Looks like a nice mini project on the horizon
