there were early reported problems on the early model astra j
with water getting in to the front footwell
water would make its way along the wiper arms
and drip in to the pollen filter
this was fixed by placing a zip tie
on the wiper arm to divert the flow of water
so if you have had any problems with water in the front foot well post it here

also water in the rear boot problems
post your problems here..

I have found water in the spare wheel well on the left hand side. the car was continually misting up on the inside as a result of the dampness. what side are the welds on? I have reported it to an Opel garage but they say its "trial and error" so I would like some further guidance to speed up solving the problem.

For some reason I am UNABLE to post pictures
