How to Reset the oil Life
and Interval Service Message.


1, TURN THE IGNITION ON.

2, PRESS THE MENU BUTTON AND SELECT VEHICLE INFORMATION.

3, THEN SELECT OIL LIFE.

4, PRESS AND HOLD THE CLEAR BUTTON
AND HOLD DOWN THE BRAKE PEDAL AT THE SAME TIME.

5, A MESSAGE WILL COME UP AND YOU CAN NOW STOP PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE CLEAR BUTTON.
THEN SELECT YES TO RESET THE OIL LIFE TO 100%.

YOU HAVE NOW RESET THE OIL LIFE.

mine is very differant now, it use to use that method but now i get a message saying are you sure you want to reset. When i then select yes, and press button 3, it does nothing :( For the past 4,000 miles my oil life has been stuck on 72% :(

Mines sits at a set % for quite awhile then all of a sudden it will drop.

It was reset about 10mths when vx serviced so about 3 weeks ago oil life at 30%. Thought I'd reset to see if it goes back to 30% but it didn't it's showing 85% oil life today. Is this just a gimmick u think?
